BeachFit Baltimore’s group fitness classes are unique, challenging and offer balance that is hard to find anywhere else! From on-the-board balance and core training with SURFSET to the intense, high-energy TRX, we have something for everyone.

BEACH CLASSES

While everything we do is tied back to beach vibes, some of our classes are more beachy than others. With deep beach roots, our Surf classes will give you that awesome beach feeling – toes in the sand, boarding in the waves, sun on your face! Classes under this category are:

Work with our team to burn calories while you’re having fun! In our high-energy Burn classes, you’ll experience all the benefits of cardio and HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) based training workouts! Classes under this category are:

Challenge your major muscle groups, as well as your smaller stabilizer muscles in a variety of classes designed to increase definition. Each class and instructor helps you bust through plateaus! One of the reasons we love fitness is because there’s equal parts pushing and pulling – just like at BeachFit! Our Balance series helps you focus on stability, control and lengthening. As you continue working with our instructors, you’re body control will grow and you’ll start to feel that balance! Classes under this category are:

Rookie Surf

  • Get stoked for your first shred session! In our intro-level surf class, you’ll learn about Surfset and the basics of our surf-inspired workouts. We’ll help you challenge your body in new ways with dynamic stabilization and total body toning. In this class, you’ll burn fat, build muscle, improve balance AND have fun! SURFS UP! Currently, our Rookie Surf class will be offered once a month!

Surf Mavericks

  • In our signature surf class for toning and muscle development, you’ll hit the waves and break a sweat with other big kahunas. These classes have an efficient and effective mix of high-intensity cardio and strength training, focusing on aerobic conditioning and lean muscle development.

Cycle + Surf

  • Join us for a special combination class that’s bound to get your beach ready! Start with intense cardio toning on the bike, followed by a run through our signature surf moves. This efficient calorie burning and muscle building class will get you amped up for summer sunshine!

Surf Circuit

  • Add surf to your strength routine with our new Surf Circuit class! Designed to be repeated in class multiple times, the series of workout moves in each circuit combines strength and cardio on and off our surf boards. The series of exercises are performed back-to-back with minimal rest then repeated, making sure you get an efficient full body workout!

Beach Blast

  • BRAND NEW CLASS ALERT! In our new Beach Blast class you’ll build a combination of workouts every month! The class will always be at the same time but the style will change – week 1 we’ll focus on strength, week 2 will be cardio, week 3 will be HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) and week 4 will be cardio! Come to one, come to all – each month this well-rounded combination will give you a full body workout!

Beach Cycle

  • This combo of high-intensity cardio and upper body toning, paired with a rocking soundtrack, will get your heart pumping and your body sweating.

Beach Camp

  • In this bootcamp-style class, you’ll enjoy a high intensity, full body workout. Each class is different, but each is based in a mix of cardio, balance and strength moves, designed to make you burn calories and build muscle.

Warrior Bootcamp

  • NEW CLASS ALERT! In our newest bootcamp-style class, you’ll combine elements of bodyweight strength training, high intensity interval training, and anaerobic metabolic conditioning through functional and rotational movement!

Beach Burn

  • Take your toning to the next level by focusing on refined muscle movements and mobility. In our athletic approach to barre, you’ll concentrate on length, strength, tone & mobility.

Pipeline

  • Push yourself to a new level with this unique combination of cycle, surf and strength. Power through intense cardio, advanced strength exercises and core shredding surf.

TRX

    • Develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously with our mix of suspension training and cardio exercises. In our TRX classes, you’ll leverage gravity and bodyweight to improve your cardio and muscular endurance.
    • Duration: 50 minutes

TRX Rip + Roll

  • This full-body workout uses a lever bar and elastic resistance cord to create effective strength and motion training, with a focus on rotation, core stability, control, power and balance! The rotational and asymmetrical movements range from isometric to explosive and all points in between. End each class with our foam rollers, relieve muscle and joint pains, improve flexibility and range of motion. Check out this class for a fun, dynamic workout!

TRX Yoga

  • This class uses the TRX suspension trainer to balance your yoga practice by strengthening the “pulling” muscles in the back body which are often underutilized in the traditional “push” focused asana class. The TRX is used as a prop to support you while exploring different arm balances and inversions!

BeachFit 101

  • Join us for an endless summer & get to know your BeachFit basics! This class is designed to educate newcomers on best class practices and proper form for basic movements. You’ll learn more about our Surfset, TRX, cycle and bootcamp classes as well as how to perform to the best of your ability!
