Good morning and welcome to our first official TRAINER THURSDAY!
Coming at ya today are 4 exercises with the BOSU Balance Trainer…
I recommend you go through each exercise, completing 10-20 reps, and then repeat 3-6 times through
1. BOSU Pushups — set your arms wide apart on the BOSU; keep your body in a straight line from your shoulders to your heels and perform pushups lowering your chest as close to the BOSU as you can (maintaining proper form!). Modification – drop knees to floor and keep a straight line from your shoulders down to your knees.
2. BOSU Pop Squats – keep the BOSU close to your body as you squat, keeping weight in your heels; jump your feet together while you stand up and press the BOSU straight up overhead. Modification – omit the jump and just squat and press the BOSU overhead.
3. BOSU Hi-Low Plank – toes on the BOSU, maintain good plank form and walk up and down to your hands and elbows.
4. BOSU Straddle Plank – toes start on the BOSU and step out wide to straddle it; try to keep your hips facing the ground (don’t let them rock too much!).
